Position Summary:
The board of directors for the South Whiteshell Medical Centre Inc. are looking for a new provider to provide primary care services to the patient population in Falcon Lake and surrounding communities. We are open to discussing different options for part time/full time work, whether it be year-round and/or in the summer months. We are looking for a provider to hold a patient panel and/or provide walk-in services on regularly scheduled days. The clinic space includes three exam rooms, a waiting room, a bathroom with a shower, and a small office area. This space is attached to the local fire hall. The funding model is fee for service. The physician would be responsible for billing MB Health for services provided, costs relating to medical supplies, and administrative responsibilities. However, there would be no overhead cost relating to the office space rental, hydro, cleaning, etc.
