The Senior Parts Analyst Construction & Forestry works closely with the ordering teams, specifically the Construction & Forestry division within Brandt Tractor. Construction & Forestry being our John Deere product lines, along with supporting vendors. Providing reporting and data analytics for many aspects as it relates to inventory control, stock leveling, and data integrity. Be a part of projects pertaining to new product lines, product changeovers, cross reference material as well as vendor management and analytics. Analyze and coordinate vendor returns to determine the best course of action whether it be transfers to central hubs or direct to vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Set up parts inventory stocking hubs for parts needed regionally to centralize parts which are not supportable at each individual
- Plan, test and implement stocking logic to ensure the required fill rate consistency.
- Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to ensure data quality assurance and support the teams with data as required.
- Able to perform ETL and big data analysis.
Special Projects (Product Changeover / Cross References / Strategic Sourcing)
- Recognize problems and trends to foresee change.
- Provide an analytical approach to pricing changes that need to be made and able to assist with pricing policies to ensure consistent pricing.
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of parts profile, pricing, and categories.
- Develop presentations and present information to key stakeholders using data visualizations and written explanations to communicate data insights.
- Report Creation and Running (Stock Leveling / Returns / Data Integrity/)
- Running price tapes, checks, and updates within the business system.
