Let your creativity and passion shine at one of the most iconic music bars in Canada! The Carleton is looking for a hardworking individual who loves local food, drink and music to be a strong addition to our bartending team.

An ideal candidate should have 2 or more years experience in a bartending or similar role. Ample knowledge and a willingness to learn about wine, craft beer and mixology is a must, as well as an open-minded approach to adopting new trends and techniques. Coaching and training will be an integral part of the role, to ensure all parts of the FOH team are maintaining and enhancing The Carleton’s reputation as an unforgettable place to visit.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Setting up and maintaining a well-stocked workstation
• Prepping all mix/garnish/syrup and properly cycling through prep to maintain freshness
• Keeping a record of all spills, waste and out-of-stock product
• Participating in taking a monthly inventory
• Helping to creating new cocktails for the House
• Actively researching and learning about trends, classics and gaining new knowledge
• Providing timely and accurate orders
• Serving the bar seating with the same high level of service as dining room tables receive

Full-time position, shift length varies from 8-10h

Must be available to work weekdays, weekends and some holidays
