Every stage of a project flows through production – from initial client inquiry all the way through to the final deliverables – with production responsible for ensuring our creative teams have all the information they need to be able to bring every project to quality, schedule, and budget. Producers at Atomhawk Canada play a key role within the studio and are responsible for successfully planning, monitoring, and delivering creative projects to both schedule and budget, while providing guidance and support to our talented team of artists to ensure they have everything they need to succeed
This is a dynamic role in a fast-paced business environment, so it requires a positive, enthusiastic approach to team/client management and the ability to work well under pressure when managing multiple projects simultaneously. To be truly effective in this role, the Producer must be a people person with excellent written and verbal communication skills – both internally with our team, and externally when liaising with our clients – and have a proven track record of successfully planning, organizing, and managing project information/data, with a high attention for details to ensure information others rely on is always up to date and accurate
This position is a 12-month contract specifically designed to cover maternity leave.
As a Producer at Atomhawk, you will:
- Act as a primary point of contact and support for our clients, giving them a great experience.
- Evaluate and qualify booking inquiries from our clients.
- Create/review/send estimates and project plans to our clients.
- Negotiate project scope/time/cost with clients to accommodate both parties.
- Create and maintain resource/schedule/delivery plans for our projects.
- Ensure our projects are kicked off correctly and expectations are clear and understood.
- Ensure all submissions to clients are approved internally before being sent to clients.
- Ensure client feedback is delivered to our artists in a timely manner.
- Provide leadership, guidance and support to the teams you work with.
- Present project/production updates to your project team/production/studio management.
- Proactively flag any issues or concerns that could negatively impact project delivery.
What you bring:
- A proven ability of being able to independently manage and deliver large, creatively complex projects with multiple stakeholders to schedule and budget.
- A proven ability of being able to motivate and positively engage the people you work with.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A passion for problem solving at all levels.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for details.
- Comfortable creating, maintaining, analyzing and presenting project & financial data
- Experienced in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
You may also bring:
- A university degree or equivalent experience.
- Project management experience and ability to lead teams.
- A minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
$68,000 - $120,000 a year
The compensation range reflects the minimum and maximum base annual salaries specific to candidates residing in Vancouver, BC. As Timbre hires candidates across Canada, additional salary factors will be considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant training or education, and location.
