This is a Full-time seasonal position from March-October
Location: Kamloops, BC Facility
Job Summary:
- Provides financial, administrative, and clerical services in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations.
- Ensures that A/P finances are accurate and up to date and that vendors are paid timely and efficiently.
- Print invoices (bills) off the shared AP email box daily
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquires
- Prepare and place orders for office supplies needs
- Ensures that all visitors receive a safety briefing, signed in and issued PPE if required
- Assist with payroll entries
- Receive/send and distribute mail daily
- Assist in organizing employee functions
- Field all incoming calls and inquiries
Experience:
- Knowledge of relevant computer applications (Excel and Word are a must)
- Must have general office administration duties and/or education
- Knowledge of general accounting procedures
Requirements:
- Grade 12 Diploma
- Availability to be on call during Fire Season
- Be available to work 7 days a week as needed
- The standard hours of work for this position will be Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm
