The Director of Finance will collaborate closely with the CEO to strategically steer the company towards its growth goals.
As an integral member of the executive committee, this role encompasses responsibility for all financial and fiscal matters, encompassing accounting, finance, treasury, insurance, and legal affairs.
The Director of Finance will manage, advise on, and monitor financial performance indicators, lead and coordinate the company's business planning and budgeting processes. In close partnership with the executive team, this individual will assess the company's financial and operational performance, develop necessary systems, processes, and controls to facilitate operations and growth.
- Assist the CEO with all financial reporting requirements
- Oversee the company's day-to-day financial operations
- Lead the accounting team to ensure efficiency throughout the entire accounting cycle
- Set financial objectives that align with the company's growth strategy
- Forecast, manage the budget, and predict future revenue and cash flows
- Produce and present detailed financial reports and models on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Offer annual budget forecasts and cash flow projections
- Implement performance metrics that align with the company's strategic aims
- Act as the company's representative with banks, auditors, tax and legal consultants, insurance firms, and financial government agencies
- Provide essential forecasts for sales, raw material usage, and other critical data to support financial projections across various timeframes
- Formulate recommendations, policies, and strategies to aid strategic company decisions, leveraging financial and economic modeling
- Work with the IT department to enhance system functionalities
- Oversee the company's financial assets, ensuring effective liquidity and asset management
- Adhere to accounting standards and practices, preparing and analyzing financial statements, profit and loss reports, liquidity assessments, and consolidation activities
- Collaborate to refine the company's financial processes and enhance financial data quality
- Handle tax responsibilities, prepare tax documentation, and oversee governmental payments and filings
- Manage continuous cash flow monitoring, analyzing liquidity needs, overseeing receivables, and identifying risk accounts
- University degree with 10 years of experience in accounting/finance
- Preference for CPA, CFA, or master's degree holders
- Bilingual proficiency
- Proficient in accounting software usage
- Ability to manage multiple projects with time sensitivity and prioritize substantial workloads
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, analytical, and issue-resolution abilities
- Demonstrated organizational, judgment, and decision-making skills
- Self-motivated, with leadership qualities and a team-oriented mindset
