Technical Sales Specialist
We are on the search for a Technical Sales Specialist to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fueling the growth of their Steam Business, by supporting and growing on a wide variety of tasks within the Unit and by forging calls with the Sales Account Managers. You will also be responsible for working on new projects with a variety of end users and focusing on providing a comprehensive solution. This position will be reporting to Business Manager. Your success will be defined by your ability to: - Making Calls to End Users, EPC’s with Sales Team, Providing assistance to customers, and educating them.
- Imparting Product Knowledge and training to customers and the sales team
- Developing and monitoring Key performance indicators for growth.
- Making presentations to customers and participating in Canadian Boiler Society meetings
- Managing sales tracking tools and reporting on important information
- Keeping record of sales trends and looking at avenues for growth
- Reporting to the Business Managers and budgeting for sales, service, training, and inventory management
- Staying up to date with new product and feature launches and ensuring the sales team is on board
- Reviewing orders and specific customer requests to ensure excellent customer service & experience
Your strengths include: - An Engineering Degree - such as CET, B. Eng, B. Tech, C.Tech, EIT, or a Power Engineer 5th or 4th Class with a strong flair for customer service and interaction would be ideal.
- Experience in Valves, Process /Control Knowledge of Valves
- Strong sales and application Knowledge, such as identifying and generating leads. They should also be able to create and deliver effective sales presentations and proposals
- Have good analytical skills, such as researching the current market trends, learning about new technology products, assessing customer needs, and recommending the most suitable products or services.
- Exhibit strong business acumen and exude confidence, help others overcome challenges. They should also be able to demonstrate their expertise and credibility to their customers and sales team members.
- May need to travel frequently to meet vendors or customers or to lead instructional demonstrations for a product.
