Job description
Rehab First is one of Ontario`s largest multidisciplinary assessment and treatment organizations, numbering approximately 100 professional staff who are supported by the Psychologists and Physicians of our MEDNet® roster. Our disciplines include Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Counselling, Professional Case Management, Rehabilitation Therapy, Life Care Planning and Future Care Cost Reporting. At Rehab First, Occupational Therapists perform assessments and treatments on a wide variety of cases and are often assigned Case Lead responsibilities on the complex ones.

Development and implementation of home and community-based gym/exercise therapy programs
Assistance with Functional Abilities Evaluations
Work hardening and conditioning
Cognitive Therapy
Life Skills Training/Activities of Daily Living

Ergonomic assessments
Physical demands assessments
Social and Community reintegration
Opportunity to work with adults and children
Kinesiology degree
Registration with the College of Kinesiologist of Ontario
Previous experience creating and implementing physical exercise programs
Experience with head trauma and brain injury
Ability to work collaboratively as member of a multidisciplinary team
Superior communication, problem-solving, time management and documentation skills
Willing to travel to local gyms or client’s homes
Completion of a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check
