Rotation/Shifts
Days and evenings, including weekends, 8 hour shifts. Must be available for stand by and call backs on evenings, night, weekends, and stats holiday

Basic Requirements
- Registration with College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO), and Sonography Canada and/or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS);
- Experience in Cardiac Imaging;
- Ability to perform IV set up, insertion and medication preparation;
- Intermediate data entry and advanced medical terminology;
- Ability to assist in invasive procedures;
- Knowledge of septic and aseptic techniques;
- Good knowledge of diagnostic ultrasound equipment both mobile and static;
- Certification in CPR;
- Good written, verbal and presentation skills;
- Sound judgement and problem-solving abilities;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in 2D, M-mode, Color, Flow, Pulsed wave and Continuous wave doppler examinations, Stress and Pharmacological Echo studies;
- Experience in performing Transesophageal echocardiagrams and contrast echos;
- Experience in evaluating and collating exams and providing pertinent patient information to the physician;
- Ability to use echo analysis software packages to enhance obtained information;
- Experience in a hospital environment;
- Proficiency in English and French – oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level)
