Overview

Responsibilities:
- Lead the estimating process, including analysis of construction plans and specifications.
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes.
- Prepare detailed and competitive bid proposals.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators.
- Maintain a database of pricing information and cost data.
- Support the project management team during the pre-construction phase.
- Analyze historical project data to refine and improve estimating accuracy.
- Review and evaluate project scope and requirements.
- Participate in value engineering and cost analysis efforts.
- Stay updated on market trends and changes in construction costs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction estimating, with a strong focus on senior-level responsibilities.
- Proficiency in advanced estimating software and tools.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
- Time management and organization skills to meet deadlines.
- Proven leadership and mentorship abilities.
- Detail-oriented and committed to producing high-quality estimates.
- A track record of successfully securing and managing projects.
