Job description
The Yukon First Nation Education Directorate is seeking a dynamic and authentic Speech & Language Pathologist (SLP). Based in Whitehorse, our allied team is comprised of a number of peers including fellow SLP’s, occupational therapists, psychomotor therapists, educational psychologists, behavior consultants, other experts and wellness workers. The team spends a great deal of time in rural Yukon communities supporting Indigenous children and students. We are passionate about providing a wrap-around service model that supports the health, wellness, education, therapeutic support and connection opportunities for Indigenous students. If you are a qualified and enthusiastic SLP who enjoys working with Indigenous children and youth (1-19 years of age), our partners, a diverse team, and are able to travel frequently to Yukon communities, we would love to hear from you to discuss this opportunity further.
