Job Profile:
As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for the seamless coordination of maintenance activities for Vermilion's oil and gas assets. Your key duties will include:
Strategic Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop comprehensive maintenance schedules utilizing advanced software to ensure the smooth functioning of our assets.
- Collaborate closely with operations and maintenance teams to execute plans effectively and on time.
- Review and refine maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.
Compliance and Cost Management:
- Ensure strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations in all maintenance operations.
- Monitor maintenance costs and analyze data to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
Supplier and Contractor Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure high-quality maintenance services.
Technical Support and Development:
- Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance technicians to enhance their performance and skill set.
- Actively participate in the development and implementation of innovative maintenance strategies and procedures.
Essential Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling principles and techniques.
- Proven experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on rotating equipment maintenance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to work.
- Thorough understanding of safety and environmental regulations.
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance planning within the oil and gas sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in scheduling maintenance activities for optimal efficiency.
- Previous experience working with rotating equipment maintenance is highly desirable.
