Core Job Functions:

· Lead a team of North American field recruitment professionals toward achieving driver capacity growth targets

· Develop and update a driver recruitment marketing plan in alignment with regional strategic plans

· Develop and execute specific recruitment strategies with field recruiters in each region to deliver needed results

· Oversee and manage for performance field recruitment candidate funnels

· Participate in Business Division DECAP (demand/capacity) reviews to understand business specific growth needs

· Address recruitment performance gaps with individual field recruiters as required

· Produce corporate recruitment reports for senior management and board of directors as required

· Create reports through analytics with insights into recruitment performance gaps and target shortfalls

· Ensure all field recruitment activity is conducted professionally and equips the recruiters with the tools needed to be successful

· Ensure field recruitment team is engaged in owner operator and company driver retention activities based on their region in partnership with the Corporate HR Team

· Partner with the Corporate Recruitment Team to ensure the recruitment process is in compliance with corporate hiring standards

· Represent the company at key industry events as required, travel may be required within Canada and US

· Attain market intelligence to assist business leadership in developing appropriate competitive strategies in attracting top driving talent

· Participate in new sales commissioning projects to ensure resources are delivered as needed in partnership with the Business Development Team

· Other duties as assigned

 

 

Job Requirements:

 

·3+ years experience in a similar role

· Degree or Diploma in a related field or equivalent work experience

· Experience in transportation is considered an asset

· Proven ability to work in a team environment

· Knowledge of recruiting, compensation, and employee relations

· Excellent organizational skills

· Excellent communication skills – verbal and written

· Strong interpersonal skills required

· Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required

· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
