Diversified Staffing Services, Alberta's leading staffing agency is currently looking for a full-time Parts Technician.
The Parts Technician is responsible for sourcing, procuring, and managing parts and materials needed for the organization. They will negotiate pricing with suppliers, maintain accurate inventory records, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery. This role requires proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to manage parts inventory and track maintenance activities. Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is also necessary.
Duties:
To be successful in this role, candidates should have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a supply chain or manufacturing environment. They should possess strong knowledge of parts sourcing, procurement, and demand planning processes. Familiarity with Dairy systems and components is a plus. Proficiency in using computerized inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite is required. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are also important for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
