Job description
Position: Truck Driver with Capability of Operating a Stone Slinger - Experience an Asset. The truck is equipped with multi lift system capable of handling roll-off bins as well as a dump body. Location: Annapolis Valley
Howard Little Excavating Ltd. is a locally owned Annapolis Valley company that has continued to grow over the past 45 years. We specialize in sewer, water and road construction as well as excavation for residential, commercial and industrial buildings covering Kings, Annapolis and Hants Counties. Responsibilities: • Safety program compliance and participation, including daily drivers log requirements • Vehicle greasing and daily checks, including daily vehicle inspection reports • Safely transporting gravels, ability to operate a multi lift and sling gravel.
Qualifications:
1. Candidate should have a minimum of 2+ years of experience 2. First Aid & WHIMIS are a requirement 3. Candidate should be fluent with tandem or semi-trailer truck operation & slinger 4. Experience with large float moves is considered an asset 5. The motivated candidate should be able to equally perform alone and in a team environment
