Job description
Adecco is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Class 1 Driver for a permanent, full-time position with our esteemed client, a prominent company specializing in facilities management and maintenance support in Fort McMurray, AB. As a Class 1 Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe transportation and delivery of various materials around the site, contributing to the smooth operations of the organization.

Shifts: 7 days on / 7 days off | 12 hours/day

Responsibilities:
Maintain waste services through collection and transportation of waste equipment
Operate truck-mounted hydraulic hosting devices and various highway tractor/trailers including roll-off, lugger trucks, Front Load Waste trucks, Tractor-Trailer Units, Super-B/B-Trains, Dozers, Compactors, and Excavators as required
Complete thorough commercial vehicle inspections, including documenting and reporting deficiencies promptly to immediate supervisor
Inspect condition of waste bins, report defects, and monitor condition functionality
Notify supervisors of any delays, unsafe work sites, incidents equipment breakdowns and maintenance or operations concerns
Address resolving client concerns
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience is required
Valid Class 1 license
Must be able to provide 5-year Commercial Abstract
Successfully complete a driver's evaluation on a manual 18-speed Class 1 vehicle
TDG experience is an asset
AB Oil Sands site experience is an asset
Comprehensive pre-employment drug, alcohol, hearing, visual testing is required.
