Laboratory Technologist IV - Cytology
Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook, NL

Please Note: This position is primarily for Cytology, but the employee may be required to work in other areas of the Laboratory.

QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology Program. Completion of an approved Cytology Program with a diploma in Diagnostic Cytology. Current and continued registration with Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Sciences (CSMLS). Proof of current registration with the NL Council of Health Professionals (NLCHP). Extensive laboratory experience: minimum of five (5) years out of the last six (6) years in Cytology. Certificate in Quality Systems or commitment to complete approved program in a specified time frame. The ability to demonstrate a superior level of knowledge in Cytology in order to function in a leadership capacity is required.

A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is also required.

Hours of Work: 0700-1500, 0800-1600 and 0830-1600 Hours
Salary: $71,944.60 to $90,581.40 per Annum
