Job description
Cardinal Health Canada, with over 1300 employees nationwide, is an essential link in the Canadian healthcare supply chain, providing over 70,000 products to healthcare facilities and medical professionals across the country.
We are currently looking for a Sr. Finance Coordinator to join our team on a 12-month contract subject to extension. This role is Hybrid and will require on-site presence 2 days a week at our Vaughan head-office.
Your contributions to the organization will be:
Work closely with offshore processing center to deal with unapplied cash, accounts receivable and accounts payable including queries
Manage set up of new supplier accounts
Communicate with bank for payment queries
Review AR download reports
Evaluate bank reconciliation and retrieve copies of cheques and EFT remittances
Liaise with customers to get required information inclusive of remittance details, answering inquiries and providing supporting documentation in a professional manner
Update notes in system to keep track of work progress
Maintain customer accounts in good standing
Process refunds, if any, after full investigation
Handle cheque runs
Be backup for credit card payment including review of credit card log, answering relevant calls and follow-up with customers for credit card information update
Deal with escalated cases in a timely manner to meet customers’ and suppliers’ expectation
Other ad hoc assignments or projects which may arise from time to time
This job might be for you if you have:
Minimum of 3 years of finance / accounting experience
Post-secondary education preferred
Experience using JDE and SAP ERP highly preferred
Thorough knowledge of MS Office Suite especially Excel
Results oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities
Flexible - ability to adapt quickly and easily to changes within the business and organization
Innovative - seeks out innovative solutions and champions continuous improvement
Experience with release and change management
Experience working in an Agile environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Very strong presentation skills
