Job description

Click here to watch the introductory video from Erik, CEO of Flywheel.

Flywheel Studio is a low-code development agency. We build web and mobile applications for startups and small and medium-sized businesses around the world using a combination of low-code tools and custom code. Currently, our tools of choice are FlutterFlow, WeWeb, Firebase, and Supabase.

While we're a software development agency at the end of the day, we take a fundamentally different approach to running our business, developing software, and working with clients. First, we focus on outcome-oriented development. We don't develop for the sake of shipping more features. Instead, we focus on the end result and how we can move the needle for our clients, whatever that might be. This forces us to be better developers, product managers, and partners to our clients.

Second, we believe the best way to deliver superior outcomes is to become an in-house product team, not just an outsourced development shop. On every project, we put together a team with expertise in product strategy, project management, design, and development and collaborate closely with our clients to make sure we are delivering what they want and need. In turn, our clients bestow a strong level of trust in us including the freedom to set our own budgets, roadmaps, and organizational priorities; and the ability to work directly with their users, vendors, investors, and strategic partners. In short, we go all in and become a part of our client's team to deliver the best outcomes.

To achieve all of this, we have a small, talented team that shares the same vision. Everyone at Flywheel is full time and all in. We don't have freelancers, contractors, or subcontractors. Our team is fully remote and dispersed around the world.

As the Product and Operations Lead , the purpose is to enhance and professionalize the project delivery process. This involves a keen understanding of the client's business requirements, translating them into technical specifications for the company’s team, and ensuring the final delivery meets and exceeds the client's expectations.

Key responsibilities:

🧾 Take ownership of the entire project lifecycle, bridging the gap between client expectations and the delivered end product.

📦 Collaborate with clients to comprehend their needs and intricacies, drafting a well-defined scope of work and business requirements.

📑 Partner with the Project Manager to construct a project plan aligned with the scope of work and business requirements.

💼 Work closely with the Project Manager, Designers, and Developers, ensuring the team adheres to the project plan and delivers on schedule.

📊 Maintain ongoing communication with the client, guaranteeing the final product aligns seamlessly with their expectations.

🗓️ Lead multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating effective multitasking skills.

Working Hours ⏰: Full-time, they encourage team members to operate between 8 AM - 5 PM ET, fostering a balanced work schedule.
