Job description
Cambridge Materials Testing (CMTL), a division of Acuren, is currently recruiting for an Engineering Technologist to work in the Mechanical Testing Department to support our services in our laboratory. This position will be full time and based out of our facility in Cambridge, ON. Follow ASTM, ASME, SAE, CWB, ISO and other specifications for testing
Follow company quality standards and procedures
Conduct verifications and calibrations on equipment and parts as needed
Prepare test reports with necessary customer information, results and conclusions
Collaborate with other testing departments on high volume and large scale projects
Previous experience using mechanical testing equipment is preferred
Able to lift up to 23kg (50 lbs)Strong computer skills
Fluent in written and spoken English
