Overview:

We are seeking a General Manager (GM) to contribute to the success and growth of our restaurants located in various cities across Canada and the U.S. Reporting to the Regional Manager, the GM will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards for operations, guest experience, team development, and financial achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Operations:

  1. Drive a culture of excellence in hospitality, focusing on top-line revenues, exceptional service standards, culinary and bar team product quality, dynamic culture, high morale, and superior profit management.
  2. Plan, lead, and direct the overall operation of the business as a cohesive team to achieve company objectives.

Beverage Procedures:

  1. Establish, direct, and review beverage procedures to ensure accountability, quality, presentation, and service performance.

Financial Management:

  1. Follow approved budgets and operate within established guidelines regarding costs, expenses, sales, and profits.
  2. Monitor and ensure that practices meet or exceed yearly financial targets.
  3. Implement effective cost-containment practices to manage restaurant expenses.

Team Development:

  1. Oversee the recruitment, training, development, and mentoring of current leaders and future potentials.
  2. Conduct frequent audits to ensure excellence in all areas and provide guidance for improvement.

Performance Management:

  1. Directly handle or assist with any guest-related complaints and/or comments, ensuring proper follow-up.
  2. Manage all disciplinary actions and performance management of team members.

Sales and Marketing:

  1. Coordinate and implement sales strategies to drive revenue and achieve business objectives.
  2. Coach the leadership team on effective restaurant execution.

Relationship Building:

  1. Develop and maintain positive relationships with team members and other stakeholders.
