Job description
Adecco is presently seeking a full-time Millwright Planner Scheduler in Edmonton, AB, for a prominent energy company specializing in synthetic crude production from oil sands. This role entails meticulous preparation of Turnaround plans, estimates, and schedules to ensure efficient and cost-effective execution of maintenance activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop job plans for rotating equipment related to capital projects, turnaround and outages including estimating/linking of individual tasks and work package folders with required execution details
Scope out each job through site visits, discussion and/or meetings with relevant stakeholders in order to ascertain required level of planning details and documentation appropriate for each individual job
Identify parts, rentals and services required to do the job and initiate the ordering process
Liaise with offsite vendors, collect quotes/discuss schedules and set up requisitions
Complete Planning Level Hazard Assessment (PLHA), identify Environmental Health and Safety issues during Planning Stage and Include mitigation measures to the detailed plan
Act as liaison with Operations, Engineering and other key stakeholders to review and validate scope of work requested through work requests
Assist Supply Chain Management for identifying and tracking critical long lead items
Develop, Update and maintain equipment task lists in SAP for future planning/estimating requirements
Participate in corporate safety initiative programs
Requirements and Qualifications:
Minimum of a grade 12 diploma or GED is a must
Trade certificate equivalent is preferred
At least 5 years of experience with a minimum of 3 years in planning roles.
Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry with knowledge of plant, facilities, and equipment.
Proficient in computer applications such as MS Office suite, SAP, and Primavera systems.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with incident investigations and lessons learned processes.
Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Focus on continuous improvement.
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
