Job Description:

• Identify and solicit potential clients
• Prepare or oversee preparation of sales or other contracts
• Conduct sales transactions
• Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates
• Consult with clients after sale or signed contracts
• Review and adapt information regarding product innovations, competitors and market conditions
• Provide clients with presentations on the benefits and uses of goods or services
• Provide customer service
• Promote sales to existing clients
• Perform customer engagement: Interact with customers, foster relationships with them, and address their needs
• Perform follow-up and customer support activities: Address customer inquiries and ensure post-sale satisfaction including inquiries received via email, fax, telephone or via our website
• Collaborate with other teams: Coordinate with the Order Desk and Operations Department for a unified sales strategy focused on customer service
• Perform market research and adaptation: Stay informed about industry trends and adjust sales tactics accordingly
• Visit customers
• Attend sales calls
• Attend trade shows/demonstrations

Requirements:

Education: Completion of secondary school is required.

Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a salesperson is required. On-the-job training will be provided.

Valid G driver’s license is required.

Computer and technology knowledge: Presentation software, Word processing software, Electronic mail, Spreadsheet, Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, MS Office is required.

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Overtime required.

Personal Suitability: Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral and written communication, Flexibility, Initiative, Organized, Team player, Accurate, Reliability.

Language: English is required.

Salary: $29.00 per hour, 45 hours per week.

Benefits: Mileage paid, commission. Medical, vision care, and group insurance benefits are provided by the employer. Dental and extended medical insurance are provided by the employer.

Important information: Flexibility on schedule is required. The work schedule will be from Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The worker may be required to work extended hours, including weekends, in order to support organization requirements. Overtime is required.
