Your new company  

Our client, one of our fast-growing clients in the legal industry, is an expert in various aspects of business law, primarily concentrating on transactions in the commercial, real estate, and financial sectors. They operate in three key Canadian cities and are looking to expand their team in 2024. 

Your new role  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Participate in the complete payroll cycle for Canadian employees.
• Manage and track employee social benefits and their administration
• Reconcile payroll records and resolve inconsistencies.
• Balance and prepare payments for various suppliers.
• Produce the necessary monthly reports.
• Attend to both internal and external stakeholder requests.
• Participate in year-end payroll activities.
• Take part in the testing, testing, and implementation of new payroll system updates and improvements.

What you'll need to succeed  

• DEC or equivalent in accounting or business administration.
• 2-3 years experience in a related role.
• Bilingual.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Mastery of Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of Payworks (an asset).
• Member of the Canadian Payroll Association or the American Payroll Association (an asset).
