Job description
We are currently looking for a Technical Recruiter to support our client, one of the worlds leading companies. In this role you will work full time hours on a 6 month assignment, working hybrid in their Waterloo ON office.
As a Technical Recruiter, you will be partnering with Verily engineering leadership to continue scaling our world class, mission-driven teams, and in doing so, have the ability to truly impact the healthcare space.

Responsibilities
- Provide an efficient, high-touch experience for every candidate from application to offer including evaluating skill level, driving the interview and (often complex) offer process, reference checks, salary recommendations and the closing of candidates.
- Partner with mid to senior-level hiring teams and other key stakeholders to effectively qualify requisitions, create and execute recruitment strategies, and influence hiring decisions.
- Be a trusted advisor to Verily Eng Leadership and influence talent acquisition strategy that anticipates business needs, grows in scale and efficiency, and ensures robust candidate representation.
- Serve as a skilled problem solver and facilitator with all stakeholders.
Qualifications
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience;
- 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience within engineering or other technical skill sets
- 2+ years of experience working directly with Senior Manager and Director-level stakeholders.
- a self-starter who can recognize where processes can be improved and takes the initiative to improve them.
- Strong, polished communication skills.
- Excellent business judgment and professional etiquette.
- Organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a very fast-paced environment.
