Warehouse Address: 6275 Northwest Drive, Mississauga

Shift Time: Daytime (Flexible) - 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

Some of what you will do:

Receive, store, and distribute products and equipment within the warehouse. Perform work under the direction of the warehouse supervisor or manager.

Specifically, you will:

Receive and stock product from manufacturers and wholesalers, submit product location to receiving department, move products around warehouse, operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (equipment that may be utilized includes forklifts, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers)

Ensure accurate quantities of products were received, and compare appropriate paperwork, or what’s displayed on hand-held scanner, and match product numbers; question and resolve discrepancies as required.

Enter data product information using a hand-held scanner into the warehouse database for inventory tracking to assure accuracy and completeness.

Adhere to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties.

Qualifications:

Some of what you need:

A minimum of three (3) months' related experience in a warehouse environment is required.

Prior experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jack and cherry picker or ability to become certified in the operation of all warehouse equipment is required.

Must be detail oriented, dependable and able to make independent decisions and follow instructions.

Must be a team player.

Data entry skills and familiarity with computers/scanners.

Additional Requirements Information:

Work requires moderate physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity to perform the essential duties of the job:

The employee will regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee may lift, lower, or carry products up to a maximum of 50 pounds by hand.

The employee may operate warehouse equipment. Using proper safety procedures will eliminate any potential hazards.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
