Aon is looking for a Senior Data Analyst for its CoverWallet team. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Toronto office.

What The Day Will Look Like
As a Data Analyst, you will deliver strategic analysis on high priority initiatives across the entire organization. You will be expected to deliver data-driven insights that will play an integral role in defining the company’s data model.
- Use Looker to build critical dashboards that will measure business performance, hold teams accountable, and generate insights
- Work tightly with the Finance team in order to measure revenue correctly and accurately as well as support the accounting operational processes
- Democratize data through skillful data structuring by developing Looker explores to support our internal stakeholders
- Own data analysis and visualization, and communicate the outcomes/insights to various stakeholders that will be utilized to make strategic decisions for improvements
- Partner with the Analytics and Data Engineering teams to understand current problems with our existing data platform, identity solutions, and deliver high quality data foundations to data stakeholders across multiple business lines
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Operations, and Marketing to provide them with visibility to real-time data on existing and new processes.

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success
- 5+ years of experience in a data analyst role
- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field and specifically in the finance area
- Highly proficient in SQL
- Experience using visualization tools, preferably Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
- Experience working in Agile environments, preferably with Jira
- Extra Credit - Exposure to data modeling and transformation tools like dbt and experience with data analysis and building data pipelines with Python
- Ownership of assigned projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Problem solver with excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong quantitative reasoning skills and experience using data to provide insights to executive leadership and other departments
