Job description
Adecco is currently recruiting for a Project Manager. This is a 1-year Remote contract opportunity with a possibility of extension. This role is with one of our public sector client based in Ottawa. The successful candidate must have a valid Reliability Security Clearance .
The Project Manager will have the following responsibilities:
Create clear and attainable project plans and schedules, build project requirements, and manage project costs, time, scope, and quality;
Delivery of a large-scale cyber security program which includes planning, execution, implementation, and close out activities;
Management of financial budgets;
Management of resource plans;
Management of project schedules;
Stakeholder collaboration which includes, but is not limited to, our delivery partners and external vendors, and internal Stakeholders;
Developing and presenting status reports;
Management and oversight on dependencies;
Supporting our project delivery team members;
Other day-to-day project management activities;
Assistance with developing project business cases;
The Project Manager must meet the following mandatory requirements:
Must have a university degree or diploma in Business Administration or any related field;
Must have 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager;
Must be PMP certified or Prince2 Certified;
Experience working for 2+ years in Agile Methodology;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Cyber security initiatives would be a strong asset;
Experience with Jira would be considered an asset;
