Reports to Director of Product Development, LOB Lead, Software Team Lead

Works with Quality Assurance Specialists, Team Leads, Software Developers, Director of Product Development

Immediate subordinates n/a

Work Mode: Hybrid (Three days a week to the office)

Work Location: Surrey

Salary: $62,000 - $78,000 Annually

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Job Summary

The Junior Software Developer is an entry-level position as a Software Developer. This position typically fulfills the role of Software Developer on a Project Team.

The Junior Software Developer is expected to complete implementation tasks on standard projects with some supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Fulfills role of Developer on Project Teams.
• Provides feedback to the Technical Lead or Project Manager for development schedules.
• Contributes to the risk management activities of the Project Team.
• Implements software design of standard project or sub-projects.

Authority

• To make implementation decisions where they are consistent with design.
• Required or Strongly Preferred Skills and Abilities
• Strong technical communication and writing skills.
• Team player.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor of Science (Computing or Engineering), or equivalent experience.
