Operations Manager - $60,000 - $75,000/ yr - Ottawa

Do you have 2-5 years of experience in operations and leading a team in the retail/commercial or industrial sector? Are you a hands-on leader, capable of holding your team accountable and eager to jump in wherever needed? If you're ready to join a close-knit, family-oriented team we want you on board!

Hours: Tuesday - Saturday 9:00 -5:30
Salary: $60,000-$75,000/ yr
Location: Ottawa

Responsibilities
As an Operations Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our e-commerce footprint and driving industrial supply sales to local shops and factories. Your responsibilities will include:
- spearheading business development initiatives and strategies to grow our market share.
- building and inspiring a high-performing team through effective leadership and mentorship.
- utilising your plumbing and electrical knowledge to provide valuable insights to customers.
- leveraging your customer service background to ensure exceptional service and satisfaction.
- overseeing order management processes and ensuring efficiency in warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a less structured environment, fostering a collaborative and family-oriented culture.
- Demonstrated success in business development, with a focus on industrial supply to local shops and factories.
- Strong leadership skills, capable of building and motivating a successful team.
- Plumbing and electrical know-how, providing valuable expertise to both customers and the team.
- Background in customer service and order management.
- Enjoys being out on the floor with their team
- Able to steer and lead a team, and hold them accountable while having fun
- Team player: able to jump in and help where need be
