CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE – AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY

The Job!

Reporting to the Manager of Remarketing and working from the Markham Head Office, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

• Managing remarketing lists and following up for the return of leased vehicles past their scheduled maturity date
• Collecting outstanding and excess charges, which includes invoicing for excess kilometers, wear and tear, missing equipment, payments, and miscellaneous fees
• Handling incoming calls, processing paperwork, and managing extensions of lease contracts, Dealer Condition Reports, and more
• Resolving outstanding issues with dealers and customers at lease end, including payouts, invoices, security deposits, and daily report processing
• Preparing vehicles for auction in a timely manner

What you bring to the job

To excel in this role, you are someone who knows how to work with a team and has a flexible and proactive mindset. You also come with:

• A minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English
• Customer service representative experience
• Data entry experience
• Reception, switchboard, or call center experience
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• A keen eye for detail and accuracy
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Previous experience in inbound and outbound call center operations is an asset
