Our team is growing and we are looking to add Certified Pipefitters and Millwrights to our Richmond, BC team!
...

We are currently expanding our shifts and need a Certified Pipefitter with a manufacturing background working with PVC piping. Our machinery line including galvanizing lines, wiredraw machines, mesh machines, nail machines, packing lines, etc. In this role you would provide maintenance to our manufacturing equipment and machinery on both an emergency, and preventative maintenance basis. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing water, gas, and compressed steam high-pressure pipes, pipe-fittings and pumps This position is ideal for individuals with a plumbing background. We offer lots of growth and great benefits and we have 2 shift times open for you to choose from.

Location: Richmond, BC
Shift: Days and Afternoons offered by preference Monday to Friday (steady days)
Shift Time: Day Shift (6:00am-2:30pm) Afternoons (2:00pm-10:00pm) -- graveyard may be available in the future (11:00pm-6:30am)
Wage offered: Up to $45.90 for Red Seal to start
This is a transit accessible location but license preferred
*Steel toe boots required*

Responsibilities
- Repair, Maintain and Troubleshoot new to very old manufacturing machines
- Work with steam/hot water heating, instrument calibration, instrumentation/control installation, cooling systems, PRV valves, processing systems, compressed gas and vacuum systems)
- Work in sometimes unideal situations such as with extreme temperatures, dusty areas, or sometimes physically demanding projects
- Open to working with a team, we are very close and would love for you to join us
- Pump system analysis and sizing
- Making detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation
- Keep areas clean and organized for shift rotation and job pickups

Qualifications
- Background in Steel or Food Manufacturing preferred
- 3rd Year apprentice or Red Seal Certified preferred
- A sound working knowledge of PVC/CPVC and metal piping
- Knowledge of pipe design would be a definite asset.
- Ability to work in hot or cold environments, and can keep up with the other physical demands
- Exhibits a passion for repairs, and troubleshooting machines and active equipment
- Located in or around the Richmond, BC area
