Job description
Ontario Government Client is actively seeking a Specialized IT Consultant. As a Specialized IT Consultant, where your expertise is in driving transformative training strategies for electronic health projects. Bring 7-10 years of project management expertise, emphasizing clinical software deployment. Demonstrate robust communication skills, adept stakeholder management, and the ability to craft online training for Public Safety Radio implementations. Note: The candidate is present on-site for three days each week.
Must Haves:
Proven experience in creating and implementing a large-scale training strategy and rollout plan.
Solid experience as a Trainer delivering training to both technical and non-technical users.
Experience managing and coordinating a large-scale training project with multiple stakeholders.
Experience in designing online training programs for Public Safety Radio implementations.
Nice to Have:
Previous Public Sector experience is an asset.
Criteria:
Training Management, Leadership, Development, and Delivery Experience
Proven experience in large-scale training strategy creation and rollout.
Solid training delivery experience for technical and non-technical users.
Extensive experience creating training material and user documentation.
Leadership in managing large-scale, complex projects, including risk assessment and resource management.
Experience coordinating training projects for diverse stakeholders.
Relationship Management
Solid experience in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Exceptional leadership in aligning teams across organizations.
Communications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to act as a liaison between stakeholders, clients, and project teams.
Experience drafting and presenting materials for executive review.
Project, Risk, and Issue Management
Extensive experience in project management software usage.
Solid experience in creating and managing training project plans/schedules.
Understanding and application of governance for project success.
Proven experience managing governance at the executive level.
Demonstrated experience in identifying issues and managing risks.
Public Safety Radio or Telecommunications Infrastructure Experience
Experience with large-scale projects involving network design, implementation, and operations.
Designing online training programs for Public Safety Radio implementations.
Designing online training programs for diverse adult learning audiences.
Learning needs assessment and program development using the ADDIE model.
