Job description

This is a contract position for a Database Administrator - Application for our public sector client.
Work location: Downtown Toronto
Duration: Twelve Months
7.25 hours/day
This is a Hybrid role that requires the candidate to be onsite 3 days of the week (This is a mandatory requirement of the role and is non-negotiable outside of exceptional circumstances.)

Responsibilities
• Work with EFP technical team to plan/prepare and execute migration of e-Business Suite and TPE (Transfer Payment Extension) application from On-Prem Supercluster to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
• Performance tuning of e-Business Suite R12.2/19c in multi-node RAC environment
• Configure, deploy Oracle Access Manager, Oracle Universal Directory (OUD), Oracle Directory Integration Platform (DIP), E-Business Suite Access Gate and EBS Webgate
• Installation and configuration of iSupplier in R12.2
• Manage and proactively monitor using OEM 13c
• Update Disaster Recovery technical procedures for IFIS CORE and TPE

• Provide day-to-day operational and maintenance support to the existing e-Business Suite and Oracle Data Guard application environments
• Document all new procedures and processes and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to the EFP (Enterprise FinTech Practice) Oracle e-Business Suite DBAs

Qualifications
- e-Business Suite Applications R12.2 and Oracle Data Guard application (installation, configuration, maintenance, patching, upgrade and cloning).
- Expert knowledge in migrating e-Business Suite Applications to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Expert level knowledge of migrating Oracle technologies from Unix (Solaris) to Oracle Enterprise Linux / Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.x/6.x/7.x.
- Expert level knowledge of Oracle 19c database administration, maintenance, security implementation, upgrade and patching, database performance tuning, sizing and capacity planning, database backup and recovery using RMAN.

Nice to Have:
- Previous Public Sector experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of supporting SSO as part of EBS installation.
- Knowledge of OUD, OID, DIP, ODSM EBS Webgate and Access gate.
