What this role is all about:

The Marketing Coordinator (Temporary - 5 months) contributes to the credit union by being the first line of contact for the Marketing team on a variety of initiatives and ensures all requests are handled efficiently. This position partners with internal departments and external stakeholders to support marketing campaigns and participation in community events to increase member engagement, retention and conversion rates at key member channels/touch points to contribute to an overall superior member experience.

• Serve as primary point of contact for internal departments, branches, and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate production, distribution, and updating of print materials and marketing collateral.
• Support ad hoc marketing activities at branches and organize financial literacy activities, including seminars.
• Assist in planning and executing community investment initiatives and events.
• Promote the organization through sponsorship groups and manage event plans and debriefs.
• Provide communications support by updating websites and social media.
• Manage inventory and budget of promotional materials.
• Coordinate stationery production and distribution.
• Actively seek opportunities for process improvements.
• Collaborate with team members on various projects and initiatives.
• Participate in community investment initiatives and sponsorships.

A little about your qualifications:

• Diploma in business, communications or marketing
• 1 to 3 years’ related experience
• Experience with social media management
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
• Valid BC Driver’s License
• Equivalent combination of the above may be appropriate

Compensation:

• Competitive base salary; reviewed annually. The salary range for this position is $ 43,260 to $54,075 and starting salary will be based on related education, accreditations, training, and experience.
