ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Methanex is currently seeking a Control Systems Engineer/Technologist to join the team in Medicine Hat, AB, on a full-time basis.

The Control Systems Engineer/Technologist manages the maintenance, security, and reliability of all configurable process control and safety systems used to operate Methanex Medicine Hat production facilities (primarily DeltaV and Triconex), and ensures control system cybersecurity best practices are followed.

More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

To qualify, you will need a degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering, or a currently registered/certified Engineering Technologist, or Journeyperson in Instrumentation, and 5 years of relevant working experience on Safety PLCs and DCS/BPCS, along with the following:
