Starting Salary
$7,957.57 per assigned course consisting of three workload hours. The rate for any courses requiring fewer or greater hours shall be prorated based on this standard.

Duties:
The Faculty of Management is seeking applicants who are qualified to develop and prepare lessons; instruct, assess, and grade student achievement in undergraduate and/or graduate programs. We are seeking applicants who have an academic, professional, and industry background in related course content and are qualified to teach a range of courses offered by the Faculty of Management.Subject areas may include:
Candidates will possess the requisite experience and expertise both in teaching and in the related course content areas for each subject that a candidate identifies as being qualified to teach. Please review the program calendars and specify in your application the course(s) you have experience in (professional and/or teaching) and are qualified to teach. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to teaching, learning and student success through scholarship and institutional service. Successful candidates will participate in a wide range of activities outside the classroom, including student support; institutional, faculty and departmental committee meetings and other initiatives; and professional activities in keeping with their disciplines in and outside the institution.
Required Qualifications:
A demonstrated competency at working effectively in a team-oriented environment. Have a strong focus on teaching and student learning; subject currency and the ability to be responsive to diverse learning styles, cultural and academic backgrounds.Accounting
A Master's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and membership in good standing with the Chartered Professional Accountants Canada (CPA Canada). Candidates with an undergraduate degree in good standing with CPA Canada may also be considered.Economics
A Doctoral degree in a related field from an appropriately accredited institution. ABDs will also be considered. Candidates who hold a Master's degree and have industry experience may be considered for lower-division undergraduate courses. Expertise in teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the subject areas.Finance and Quantitative Methods
Relevant Master's degrees with relevant industry experience will be required.Marketing
A Doctoral degree (or ABD) (Master's degree may be considered) in the field of Marketing and supported by relevant professional experience and expertise in teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the subject areas.Management & Law
A Doctoral degree (or ABD) (Master's degree may be considered) in the field of General Management, and/or Human Resource Management, and/or International Business, and/or Project Management, or a Juris Doctor, and supported by relevant professional experience and expertise in teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in these subject areas.
Hospitality
Eligibility for one or more of the various appointments within the Hospitality Management program varies according to the necessitated teaching requirements and curriculum and depends on the applicants' primary qualifications.Recreation & Tourism
A Doctoral degree (or in progress) in a related field from an appropriately accredited institution; experience in teaching undergraduate courses; relevant applied professional experience in a recreation or tourism setting with specific experience relevant to the course content. Candidates who hold a Master's degree and have industry experience may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Doctoral degree (or ABD) with an appropriate specialization from an accredited institution. International experience; relevant research presentations and publications; professional memberships; relevant applied certifications.
