Electrical Service Project Manager

They work on a variety of projects across the coast (residential, industrial & institutional) & have multiple locations across the province.
Your new role
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers, consultants, general contractors, and end users.
- Work with clients and identify potential business opportunities
- The ability to analyze contracts for complex clauses and conditions.
- Manage project financial performance, including billing responsibilities.
- Estimate project costs and submit tenders.
- Mitigate project risk, deficiencies and manage changes
- Purchase materials and equipment.
- Work with Accounting and Service Electricians to develop work and small project scheduling and budget expectations
- Manage the project and be present on project sites as needed.
- Arrange project manuals/ power quality reports to be completed.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Overseeing safe work environments
- Review the project upon completion with the chargehand/service technician to discuss successes and challenges
What you'll need to succeed
- 2–3 years experience in Electrical Project Management and/or Estimating
- Preferably in the commercial and industrial scope.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork skills
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations
- Familiarity with electrical project management and estimation best practices.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in project cost control and financial tracking
- Experience with computer and software including accused, MS Office, Blue Beam, procure, zoom
- Proactive approach to addressing issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, team environment
What you'll get in return
As the Electrical Service Project Manager, you will be entitled to earn a competitive compensation package of $85,000-$120,000, vehicle allowance or gas card, extended benefits, and 3 or more weeks of vacation.
