Halifax Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking a Dispatch Service Advisor to join our growing team!

As the Dispatch Service Advisor with Halifax Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram , you will be the primary contact working with both the customer facing advisors and the automotive technician's in ensuring that work orders and customer requests are processed in both a timely and efficient manner. Your responsibilities include allocating jobs to technicians, assessing vehicle issues, allocating and prioritizing shop flow, providing cost estimates, and coordinating service appointments. The ideal candidate possesses excellent time management skills, communication skills, automotive knowledge, and a passion for ensuring customer satisfaction. Above average organizational skills with the ability to multitask are critical.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Monitor and prioritize service requests, adapting to changing priorities and emergencies as they arise.
• Develop a basic understanding of the technical aspects to effectively communicate with both service advisors and service technicians.
• Maintain accurate and detailed automotive records by recording problems and corrective actions planned
• Assist in warranty related paperwork, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and submission.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publications

Requirements:
• Ability to wear many different hats and a strong aptitude for working with people across multiple departments
• At least three years of customer service experience, previous experience in an Automotive role is considered an asset
• Strong interpersonal skills: a good listener who can cultivate relationships
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a team-driven environment
• Good organization and learning skills
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driver's abstract
