Job description

Our client based on the outskirts of Nelson / Colne is looking for a bookkeeper with experience of journals accruals and prepayments with payroll administration;

Prepare and post monthly accruals prepayments and similar accounting entries and accounts preparation to trial balance

Preparing and processing invoices and payments

Reconciling bank statements

Preparation of hours holidays and absences for the external accountant to process the Payroll approx. 200 staff

Maintain strong relationships with staff and customers

The ideal candidate:

Minimum of 23 years experience in a bookkeeping role

Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles

Payroll administration experience

Experience using Xero Sage or SAP (or similar)

Must have strong Excel skills
