We are currently searching for a Regional Maintenance Manager to join our client covering the Vancouver Area. With over 120 years in the market, our client is one of the North American food industry, refrigeration, and appliance leaders in Western Canada.
We are looking for a Regional manager that loves hands-on involvement, brings out the best of their team, and can consistently bring results.
As the Regional manager, you are expected to provide leadership, hands-on experience and direction for day-to-day operations over a team of maintenance technicians.

Responsibilities

As a Regional Maintenance Manager, your primary responsibility is to oversee a group of HVAC, refrigeration, and heating technicians, including 4th and 5th class power engineers. Your role will focus on management and leadership skills, with technical expertise being a secondary requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

-Team Management: Lead and manage a team of 29 HVAC, refrigeration, and heating technicians, ensuring they work efficiently and effectively.
-Scheduling and Resource Allocation: Develop and manage work schedules, allocate resources, and prioritize tasks to meet customer demands.
-Safety and Quality Assurance: Ensure the team complies with safety and quality standards, coordinating training and compliance requirements.
-Issue Resolution: Collaborate with technicians and customers to proactively resolve issues, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
-Performance Management: Utilize systems reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve team performance.
-Team Development: Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and training of new technicians, fostering their professional growth.

Qualifications
Requirements:

Hands-on experience in refrigeration or appliance equipment is a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing and developing employees.
Experience working and/or managing in an industrial environment (including forecasting, scheduling, and being able to be adaptable in a high paced environment)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven ability to develop and grow a team.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
