Job description

Are you a Millwright in Waterloo looking for an exciting opportunity with competitive pay, amazing benefits and a great atmosphere?

We are seeking a Millwright to work in the booming food industry. While some fields of work are slowing down, the food industry is ALWAYS busy. This is perfect for a candidate looking for stability and a long-term employer.

You must possess a 433A license to qualify for this role and ideally 3-5 years of experience.

Shift: STRAIGHT Afternoons or STRAIGHT nights

Payrate: $41.70 + shift premium on afternoons or nights

Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting food related equipment such as packaging equipment, conveyors, baggers, freezers, fryers and ovens.

- Performing a significant amount of fabrication on shift as needed, including TIG welding
- Working in a setting of 6-10 degrees Celsius
- Troubleshooting electrical issues
- Other maintenance duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor

Qualifications
- Must own tools
- 433a license
- Able to work in an environment that has raw meat - CHICKEN ONLY
- Food setting maintenance experience is ideal, though not required
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior welding experience is required
