Job description
This is a full time youth worker position is responsible for the direct care and supervision of male youth who are placed in the facility. The position provides young persons in the program with a living environment that is safe, stable and emotionally supportive while ensuring that security functions are met. Child and Youth Care Diploma is preferred qualification but candidates with HBSW, BSW, BA Sociology or Psychology, Onajiigawin Indigenous Services, Social Services, Developmental Service Worker, Police Foundations or Early Childhood Education may be considered. Requires valid driver’s license and Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
