Job description
St-Marys Cement - Ciment St Marys operates a state-of-the-art cement plant with a North American reach. Our mission is to provide our customers with superior quality cements, manufactured and distributed according to the principles of sustainable development.
We are currently seeking a Terminal Operator to support our operations in Oshawa. The ideal candidate will have a strong maintenance background or industrial mechanical experience and valid driver's license

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate and conduct general maintenance on cement handling equipment (pneumatic pumps, hoses, fittings, air slides and valves)
- Participate in the discharge of cement from our marine vessels to pneumatic tanks/storage silo's.
- Loading of trucks/customers/carriers using the proper SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) for each task.
- Maintains grounds: offices, warehouse, yard
- Re-claiming operations, includes front-end loader operations within our storage warehouse.
- Assists with general mechanical maintenance and inspections for stationary equipment such as ventilation systems, dust extractors, compressors, and blowers.
- Maintain proper customer service to clients and carriers
- Maintain and record inventory (SAP & excel spreadsheets)
- Uses safe practices when carrying out tasks, and complies with current procedures, laws and regulations.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Highschool diploma, while further education is an asset
- Previous experience in maintenance, cement/construction industry is an asset
- Valid drivers license
