Job description

Kal Tire is currently recruiting for a full-time, Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our busy commercial location in Port Kells / Langley, BC. In this role, you are primarily responsible to perform full 3 Axle alignments on semi trucks, trailer alignments, installing bushings and kingpins shocks etc. The salary starts at $35-40 based on experience including an extended health/dental benefits program, RRSP matching, vacation time, Kal Tire perks and more.

This position is open for Kal Tire store located at 20140 98 AVE LANGLEY BC.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• You hold a provincially recognized trade ticket and 3 years experience.
• Skilled at inspections, steering, brakes, suspension & diagnostics, adjustments, service and repair on a wide variety of vehicles.
• Ability to excel in a physically demanding environment that includes heavy lifting and moving constantly throughout the day.
• Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Experience and strong awareness of working in a safety-focused environment.
• A valid driver’s license.
