Job description
A Kitchen Helper will address customer service concerns and answer questions pertaining to items in the deli. Ensures the store's appearance aligns with the company standards and keeps displays well-stocked and organized. Duties include slicing meats and cheeses, taking inventory of products and talking with customers about the types of produce on display.
Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding guest service by greeting customers, suggesting menu items, efficiently making sandwiches, slicing meats and cheeses and completing sales.
Prepare sandwiches, salads, soups, subs, burritos, side dishes and other food products.
Operating all equipment, safe food handling and preparation, kitchen safety techniques, , housekeeping standards, merchandise presentation, customer service, and follow-up on complaints.
Duties:
Wash and peel vegetables and fruit
Wash work tables, cupboards and appliances
Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers
Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, cupboards and other storage areas
Sweep and mop floors, and perform other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff.
