Rocky Tech is looking for a software engineer (NOC21231) Duties and Responsibilities as a software engineer (NOC21231),but not limited - Gathering and analyzing user requirements to create detailed specifications for Rocky Tech's diverse IT solutions. - Researching and applying technical knowledge to design, develop, and test systems, including specialized applications for network security, digital marketing, and web development. - Developing and optimizing data architectures and network models to enhance system performance and reliability, contributing to the robust infrastructure of Rocky Tech's client solutions. - In project development phases, from planning and design to the integration and operational deployment of computer-based systems, emphasizing efficient and scalable software solutions. - Regularly assessing, debugging, and refining software functionalities to maintain high standards of system performance, with a focus on continuous improvement and adaptation to emerging technologies. - Leading and coordinating teams of IT professionals at Rocky Tech in the development of comprehensive software solutions and integrated information systems, focusing on process control software and embedded software control systems. - Ensure that the software works correctly by testing it thoroughly and fixing any bugs that arise. - Working closely with other team members, product managers, and designers to coordinate on projects and ensure they meet requirements. - Providing support to users or other team members who need help with the software, and possibly training them on how to use it effectively. - Be a participant in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and knowledge sharing among team members. - May involved in project management tasks, such as estimating project timelines, tracking progress, and coordinating resources. - Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies, programming languages, and tools to improve skills and stay competitive in the field.
