Salary: $17.00/hour
Hours per week: 36.25
Placement Duration: May – August 2024
Department : Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour (PETL) - New Brunswick Public Library Service (NBPLS)
Placement Description : This experiential learning opportunity is designed to offer direct experience with data analysis in a public library setting. Students can gain professional experience within the library sector by analyzing data, producing visualizations, making recommendations on data collection, and helping create reports.
Students will work directly with NBPLS staff to gain direct experience in managing a library system and learn how library services are offered to the public. There will be an opportunity to work directly with the public to provide context for the analyzed data.
Qualifications:

• Language requirement: Bilingual preferred
• You have completed some post-secondary courses and are interested in working with public libraries, as well as a demonstrated interest and competence working with data.
