Our Asset Integrity Management Team in Fort McMurray, AB is kicking off our recruitment efforts for Site HSSE Advisors for the 2024 Spring Turnaround Window, with an expected timeline of May/June 2024. Mobilization would be anticipated in early / mid May for 4-5 weeks duration.

What will you be doing?

• Ensuring all HSSE requirements of Project HSSE Plan are being met
• Assisting with HSSE orientations for all company Turnaround personnel
• Coordinating personal protective equipment for field personnel
• Completing daily field safety audits, providing feedback to personnel, and completing documentation of same
• Attending Turnaround HSSE Meetings
• Managing company incident management, reporting, and investigations
• Assisting with tracking of leading and lagging HSSE indicators for monthly reports

We think you should have:

• Post secondary degree or diploma in a HSSE-related discipline and/or an equivalent combination of related education and experience
• A minimum of 3 years' experience as a site based HSSE advisor
• Current certifications, or be willing to complete at own expense, for all mandatory safety training and meet qualifications required for site access including Drug and Alcohol Screening
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Candidates local to the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo/Fort McMurray are preferred
