Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist with a strong focus on turning and turnmill operations using Fanuc Control. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming setting up and operating CNC machines to produce highquality components meeting or exceeding production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programming setting up and operating CNC machines to produce highquality components according to customer specifications and drawings.
  
• Performing complex machining operations including turning and turnmill operations using Fanuc Control.
  
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to CNC machining processes to ensure quality and production targets are met.
  
• Measuring and inspecting finished products using precision measuring instruments and equipment to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
  
• Maintaining equipment and tools in good working condition and performing routine maintenance activities as required.
  
• Always adhering to safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Trade Certificate or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC machining.
  
• Experience in programming setting up and operating CNC machines with a strong focus on turning and turnmill operations using Fanuc Control.
  
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and equipment such as micrometers height gauges and bore gauges.
  
• Knowledge of machining processes tooling and cutting parameters.
  
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  
• Availability to work afternoon and morning shifts.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (relevant technical or vocational certifications are a plus). Previous experience in manufacturing or finishing operations is required. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Proficiency in the use of finishing tools and equipment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices. Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. High school diploma or equivalent. Three years experience in shipping and receiving in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred. Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping. Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to warehouse operations. Working Conditions: This role primarily involves working in a machine shop environment. The position may require lifting, carrying, and moving heavy items. The Shipper/Receiver may be exposed to varying temperatures and weather conditions depending on the warehouse setup. Work hours may include shifts, weekends, and overtime as required to meet operational demands. Note: The hourly wage rate for this position is $23 per hour.
